Sam is a proffesionally trained rottweiler, but on the sidelines of her duty she was my Aunt Jen's child so to speak since her and my Uncle Todd did not have children. Sam was very friendly (the total opposite of a rottweiler, i know) she was always begging for attention, which she constantly got, and was a very loyal dog that stood behind anyone that would love on her.
Sam was also a very heroic dog. She put her life at stake to save her fellow chihuahua friend, Jack, German Shepards got into my Aunt's land and started attacking defenseless Jack. Sam immediatley started attacking the shepards trying to safe Jack's life, she ran to the neighboors house that were dog sitting them and she took Jack to the animal hospital, he had to have 30 stiches all up and down his back and a breathing tube. After a couple of weeks Jack passed away in my Aunt's arms. Sam tried.
This is one of the acts of kindness that Sam commited. About 3 years later as Sam turned 14, she passed away due to old age. She was a wonderful dog, always loved never forgotten.
