The Angora Rabbit is a domestic rabbit bred for its long, soft hair. The Angora Rabbit is one of the oldest types of domesticated rabbits. If you haven't seen this rabbit it's because this rabbit originated in Ankara, Turkey. Along with the Angora Cat and Angora Goat. These rabbits were part of French royalty in the mid 1700's. They first appeared in the United States in the early 1900's.
